How
are you doing on your reading and assignments? I've heard from some of
you who want more, and others playing catch up. We all have different
paces and I don't want us to hurry, but I realize this is a shorter
chapter.
Today's Assignment:
Let's read Chapter One again, and answer the questions at the end of chapter.
If you want to do more:
Memorize this week's verse, write out the prayer at the end of the
chapter. Claim and live in the power of God's promise held in both of
these. Pray them out loud each morning and evening. Lets activate some
of the lessons we've learned in Chapter One.
What's Coming:
Tomorrow, I'll send another email with link to a new blog post for the
weekend , a FREE "Names of God" download and an invitation to gather on
my website to share some answers to this week's chapter questions. I
also have another give-away so don't miss it!!
Blessings,
Renee

Day 4 - Becoming a Woman Who Listens to God
Just in case you thought you were alone in your struggles with self-doubt, you're not!! We now have over 8000 on this Confident Heart journey together!
We'll
start discussing the questions at the end of the chapter on Thursday,
but today I have something else I want to talk about- and I promise it's
related.
Today’s Assignment & Message:
As we take our first steps towards overcoming our self-doubts and living in the security of God’s promises, it is so important for us learn how to recognize and listen to God’s voice. Becoming a woman who listens to God also happens to be the topic of my Proverbs 31 Ministries devotion.
One of the first things I learned, when it came to overcoming self-doubts and living in the security of God’s promises , is that we have to recognize and listen to God’s voice. Here’s a little more about where my “listening to God” story came to a turning point.
Keep reading for more encouragement!

Day 3 - My Prayer for You
Lord, I pray these verses from Ephesians over each person reading these words:
" When I heard of their solid trust you each have in the Master Jesus and your outpouring of love to (each other) and to Jesus, I couldn't stop thanking God for each of —every time I pray, I'd think of you and give thanks. But I do more than thank. I ask—ask the God of our Master, Jesus Christ, the God of glory—to make each of you intelligent and discerning in knowing him personally, your eyes focused and clear, so that you can see exactly what it is he is calling you to do, grasp the immensity of this glorious way of life he has for his followers, oh, the utter extravagance of his work in us who trust him—endless energy, boundless strength! "
Lord, I pray that you would give each of my friends and this amazing sisterhood that is forming a confident heart in Christ. Take them beyond believing in You to truly believing You. In Jesus' name. Amen.

Day 1 - Welcome to a Confident Heart
So excited to start this "Confident Heart" journey with you!
Now the first thing I want you to remember is that this is YOUR journey. You'll be reading the chapters, listening to God speak to your heart, highlighting sentences, promises and quotes you want to remember and apply. You'll be answering reflection questions and interacting with the group.
You'll be doing the work of believing God!
I'll be shepherding, leading, encouraging, connecting and pacing us. I'll be sharing my heart and more of my story...because I want you to share yours.
I'll be praying for you and challenging you - but you'll only get out as much as you put in.
Today, I asked the Lord what I needed to give up - so I can give more to Him - and this study. I immediately sensed Him whispering "work." And I knew it was Him. I love my job and I've been working too many late night hours after the kids go to bed. So I'm cutting back the next several weeks to consecrate more of me TO HIM and to you!
